Gareth nodded, unable to speak due to the mouthful of popcorn. He offered Karnie the bag as he lent his head lightly on top of hers in response to the gentle pressure of her head against his shoulder. He slowly twisted around and pressed a soft kiss to her temple.

Before Gareth had moved his head from kissing her, KArnie cupped her hand around his cheek and kissed him properly. letting him go she mumbled "mm, popcorny." and grinned at him, giggling a little. Perhaps Gareth would chill out a bit once the date got going.. though when that would be, Karnie didn;t know.

Gareth grinned into the kiss Karnie had pulled him into. As he pulled away the opening credits started and he took Karnie's hand in his, resting his head back on hers. This was happiness he decided, the best I could hope for.

The movie was relatively plotless, but mildly amusing in some points. At last the little squeaky chipmunk voices atopped and the end credits began to zoom up the wide cinema screen. The lights of the cinema came on again to illuminate Karnie and Gareth doing what so many teens did in american flicks. A small boy voiced his disgust at the kissing couple, and Karnie pulled back from their embrace, blushing slightly at being noticed. She grinned. "Great Film.. but there were some fatal plot errors...."

Gareth took a little longer to realise that the lights had come back on and they had been noticed. A slight blush befell his cheeks too and he looked sheepishly at Karnie.
Oh really? Like what may I ask?
Deciding to see if he could stop Karnie's trian of thought he began to tickle her. Running his fingers across her ribsl.

"Well the- Stop It!" Karni had just started to talk when Gareth started to tickle her. She collapsed into giggles - being terminally ticklish - and squeaked: "I shall have my revenge" before attempting to tickle him back. Laughing she failed miserably to retaliate and fell off the squishy cinema seat and onto the sticky floor. gasping for breath and still laighing she looked at Gareth. "Peace?" she asked, still chuckling, and wondering what he would say if she pulled him off his chair to join her on the slightly sticky floor.

Gareth nodded through laughter as Karnie sat there on the cinema floor. He eventually held out a hand to help her up off the sticky floor. He had a wide grin on his face and the feeling that this was right came back to him.

Karnie playfully pulled Gareth's hand, dislodging him from his seat an onto the floor with her. However, not all went to plan. Instead of falling neatly beside Karnie, Gareth fel on top of her. There was a rather awkward but nice moment where they gazed into one anothers eyes, before Karnie said; "Erm, sorry.." and a cleaning person coughed at them from the row in front. The cleaning lady raised an eyebrow at the couple, "Er, I have to clean there.. the films er... over." She said before scootling off down the row of seats collecting sweet wrappers. Karnie smiled at Gareth and kissed him lightly before saying: "You heard the lady, get orf!" she poked him playfully and disentangled her limbs from his.

Gareth gave a loud yelp as Karnie pulled him down so that he landed on top of her. At the cleaning lady's voice, Gareth blushed deeply. It must have looked like they were rather...busy...down there. He quickly stood and grabbed Karnie's hand pulling her up and out of the screen.

THey made their way out of the cinema and out onto the street outside. The evening was awarm and balmy, but it was getting cooler as the early summer sun was dissapearing into the horizon. "Where to now mister? asked karnie, smiling at Gareth. She mused as to where they could go... a club, a bar... the bay... The sunset was always so beautiful here. Karnie was glad she left London. That thought reminded her how little she knew about Gareth, pehaps she could get him to tell her more about himself.... but she wouldn't pry. That woulc be annoying. Karnie grinned and took Gareths hand, intertwining their finers and swinging their arms slightly.

Gareth thought carefully as they simply walked. By Karnie's words and tone of voice he easily deduced that she wanted to stay with him a while longer, which is a good sign. He remembered one of his first nights in Cardiff, sitting by the bay and watching the sunset and he pulled Karnie along as he suddenly set off to find the perfect place to watch it happen.
Upon reaching the spot, Gareth sat down, legs dangling over the bay and stared out towards the sun which was beginning to slowly lower below the horizon. Pulling her down, Gareth spoke to Karnie, his voice full of wonder.
Come on, or you'll miss it!

Karnie followed the excited Gareth as they ran toward the bay. Karni sat down, swinging her legs around to dangle over above the bay. The sun was sinking slowly downwards, casting a glittering orange yellow light across the bay. This is beautiful! gasped Karnie. She had been living on the other side of the city until a couple of months ago, and what with moving flats and everything she hadn't had time to really appreciate how beatiful cardiff could be. She snuggled up to Gareth and watched the sun sink lower into the horizon.

Gareth wrapped an arm around Karnie's shoulder, holding her closer as the sun sank below the horizon line of the bay and the air around them grew cooler. He sighed contented but he was nervous. He didn't know what to do next, offer to walk her home? Offer his house because it was nearer. Instead he was silent, unsure.

"Wanna go to a bar someplace or would you rather go home?" asked Karnie, sensing Gareths nervousness. She snuggled Gareth's chest, hoping to calm him a little.

Gareth shrugged casually, trying to hide the nervousness but his heart was thumping so loudly in his chest he was almost certain it would do a cartoon movement and come out of his ribs and knock Karnie away from him, which is bad...very bad, as he quite liked Karnie this close...

Come on[/b[ Karnie said suddenly. She got to her feet, pulling the stiff Gareth with her. Let's get a drink. She spotted a nice looking bar overlooking the bay. come on! she said again, excited. She felt like as excited as a little kid going out to town on their own for the first time. Perhaps she was hyper on popcorn...

Gareth almost...ALMOST...whimpered when Karnie stood, moving away from him. Instead, he allowed her to pull him to his feet and pull him towards a nearby bar. He pretened to simply go along with Karnie's rather hyper attitude but inside he was sprinting to the bar and the smile beamed out on his face.

After half chasing each other to the bar, they arrived slightly out of breath. Karni was giggling and had taken Gareth's hand. She pointed to a corner-couch seat in a corner: There? or by the window? she asked.

Gareth paused, seeming to consider his option before quickly taking the lead and dragging Karnie over to the corner seats. He quickly sat down and pulled Karnie down with him. Once she was seated, Gareth stood again, producing his wallet.
What are you having?

Gareth, you shouldn't be paying for all this, but I don't want to sound naggy. So, if you insist on paying, I'll have half a pint of lager, please.
Karnie took off her jacket and put it on a chair next to her.
