Alex Adair's Flat
The flat is actually fairly spacious and open plan, on the second floor of the building, and overlooks the river from the balcony. It's not that messy really, nothing bad is left lying around, just the odd pile of papers and jumpers. Dotted about are little figurines that she has collected in her life, mainly dragons and unicorns, she loves to think that they could well exist, even if they didn't actually, and likes to think that she is helping them in someway by believing that.
As you walk in the door leading from the stairs outside, you walk almost straight into the living room filling up the right side of the flat, which contains a largish sofa, TV and coffee table, often used as a dining table while in front of the TV and on the sofa. A large window and french doors dominate the far wall, leading out onto the balcony, with wood floors and pot plants and bonsai trees. Being south facing, it makes the most of the sun. A bar like counter is just visible in the left corner, a small dining table further in view, behind which lays the kitchen. A door before you reach the kitchen leads to Alex's bedroom, her bed in the corner. A door to the left of the bedroom door is the bathroom, containing bath and shower, sink and toilet.
