I know I might be a complete saddo and the only one to have read the Torchwood books, but there's one that had a device that when you touch it it starts to control you. It's called Amok. I thought it might be quite fun to have the team find it without knowing what it does and basically hurt the rest of the team because this thing is controlling them. What do you guys think? post back!

erm. no offence but I find chat speack really hard to read. I'm not sure what you've said.
but my librarian (at school) has just got in about 10 torchwood books and LOADs of doctor who ones. I cannot wait to read them!
And at the moment we have a ghost plot that is dragging on a bit that we should really finish at some point, but I think your idea (though I am not sure how it all would work) would be fun to do. =)

Thank you Kimhari. I don't mean to sounds pernickety. After all, I cannot spell or type to save my life! But unless I am in a real hurry I try and proof read before posting and edit-correct most of my errors. Thanks again for quitting the chatspeak! It saves time we would otherwise waste decoding it. =)

The book stores here suck. The only way you can get the books is by buying them online. And I don't want to wait. I want them NOW!
Who would find the amok thing? And do you like put it on? Or is it seperate and just controls you?

well i had a thought that the amok could be something that you hold like a black disk or something because i had an idea that he lets off something that attracts people to come after so that when the team get it they could get chased by thugs with knifes etc and they have to throw it to each other to get it to the suv where they can contain it in a alien tin but the team could get majorly hurt by the crowd and they could all get slightly controlled before they through it to break the effect what do you guys think?

The Amok It's Coming, Coming After You And This Time You Can't Hide
[&&]So imagine your worst nightmare come true. Well this is it. The technology built inside this globe shape the size of a tennis ball is beyond that of human understanding. Humans can, if faced with it, deal with a forth dimension, but twelve? No. This is what it is, twelve dimensions, all rolled into a shining black globe. No one knows the origin of this object, no one wants to know. This thing, this little piece of a humans living hell is the Amok.
[&&]Think you're strong? Think you can resist what draws you to the Amok? Think again sweetie, this thing is out to kill, by attacking the human race inside out. But what could such a little thing do? Well, think of the worst pain out have ever felt, and then multiply it over and over and over again. That’s what your head will feel like when the Amok is near, that pain alone is enough to drive the strongest over the edge. All humans feel drawn to this object, they want to win. "Win?" I hear you say. Well, it’s a game, a game designed for a race more developed than humans, a race to which it's twelve dimensions are nothing. But to humans it controls them; it gets inside their heads, messes with their thoughts and even controls their actions, for the worse. So it gets inside your head and you can't understand why you are holding a gun to your best friend's head, but it knows, it's controlling you. It will make you pull that trigger; it will make you take the lives of the ones you love. Just so you can win. But baby, no human can beat this game.
- -
It's late at night, it seems everyone is out doing whatever they do, and little do they know that the Amok is among them. One of the teams, who has been watching all the activity, but doesn’t yet know what is causing it, goes outside. His comrades’ vehicle is there, blood. What has happened? But where have the team been? Out. Trying to save the world, yet again, but from what? The Amok. It has been causing havoc in the city of Cardiff, each human is trying to grab the Amok, they want to play, but they don't know why, nor do they know the pain it will cause. One team member opens the little black box, holding out what they retrieved from the hands of crazed people. The Amok. The little black ball seems to have a pulse, it seems to be alive. If anyone touches the Amok they would be under its control. Someone does this, one of the team. Then everything starts to go wrong. They turn against their friends, they want this game, they want to play. No one, No one is going to ruin their fun. Fun or madness? They wouldn't know until they were released from the Amok's control. Everyone has to work fast, even with these raging headaches; they have to save their friend from the Amok, and save themselves. But will they figure it out in time? - - [/color] So, we will start this, none of the characters will be killed, duh xD but we could have some shootings, all that kinda stuff, this one is going to get messy and it will put the team to their limits. So we need to sort out who is going to go under the control of the Amok and what is going to happen to what character. So post back here with what, where, when and how =D Thanks xx

I like it...alot...and yeah I think everyone should be involved or at least have one character involved. I for one don't mind finding the amok...I'd make Gareth possibly find it in his attic or something i.e. "ooo a black tennis ball thats weird" -takes into hub- -all hell breaks loose-

well gareth or someone could sense that the object is dangerous and cover it up and everyone knows that Ianto is a clean freak so i could make him uncover it or something which maybe sents him a little transe before he throws it at someone to take it home or something.

well the thought I had was that if Gareth found it and got drawn into it of course he wouldn't want anyone else to find it so he'd keep it with him but maybe out of sight somewhere in the hub...then someone could uncover it and well...I keep coming back to the hell breaking loose
