So I was walking home on thursday, yesterday. I was crossing the street across from my school looking down, not paying much attention because I was on the crosswalk and the walky-thing was on go so I had the right of way. Not to menchon I have crossed that intersection a hundred times with no problem. Anyways I was just about at the half way point when a green SUV came right out of no where and hit me on the side. It did not hurt and at first I thought it had not hit that hard, but now that I think about it it must have. So I was pushed back a few steps and just when I thought I wasn't going to fall, I twist my right foot under me a little and fall. I hit the ground and the first thing I thought and maybe said, not to sure it made it out of my mouth now, was "I'm ok." I was in a hazy and kind of confused and scared. The guy the hit me got out of the car and asked if I was ok. Feeling ok, exept my foot did hurt, I said, "Yeah... I fine... I just... um... Twisted my ankle." Me still on the ground he says ok and gets back in her car and drives off. So I get up and start across the street, limping really badly. When across the street a car stops and a mother gets out asking if I was ok and all this stuff. There was an police officer a few feet away talking to some trouble-maker kids and she kind of forced me to go talk to him. Talking to him he asks all the the same stuff and asks if I he should call a M.E. and I said no I just twisted it, though now I wish I had said sure. The mother kept asking if I wanted I ride home and I said I could walk. Then the Office asking and at that point I finally said yes. And he drove me home.
Once at home I talked to my mom, who freaked out much like the other mother did. Now I was glade that I had taken the ride because once I started to walk my foot started to hurt and I found myself limping. Now a day later it still hurts, though I can walk with out limping. I am kind of scared to cross the street now... I had some bad dreams later night, but other then that I think I am going to be fine. Nothing is broken, thank god!

zomg!!!!! that is really scary!!! i probably would have done the same! "I'm okay, no i can walk, its just a flesh wound. Hey mom! look at this wicked cool bruise i got! Get the bag of frozen peas!" I hope you feel better. I would not like to be hit by a car. what an ass, he at least should have given you his number so you could sue him. (wait that doesnt sound right) he should have at least stayed till he was sure you were alright and could make it home. i probably would have yelled at him.
I decided to test ride a horse for a friend. We found out why he was at the auction because he threw me hard into the ground and stepped on me. It was in a corner too so he went right over me and all most landed on my head. He was really bucking, like rodeo bucking, and didn't stop for several minutes. My parents and friends pulled me out of the ring and helped me in the house, all the time listening to me spouting off "i'm okay, i think i just broke my tail bone and wrist. don't worry i'll go to school tomorow. " and so on and so forth. I really broke my tail bone though, i couldn't move with out it shooting pain up my spine for like two months. and i just put a brace on my wrist because i broke the other one falling off a slide a year ealier and felt bad that my mom had to pay for my medical expenses and just played tennis like that. I have not ever gotten on that horse again.

I was in a car accident. Not like hit by a car while I was walking or anything. I was in my car at a complete dead stop. When I got hit by an SUV. My brother said it was going pretty fast. Had to have been with all that happen. Well they hit me from behind. And I had a small little car. I tried to slam the brakes and move so my poor little car wouldn't get totalled. But I didn't have enough time to react and I didn't make it far enough away. I smalled into the car infront of me which forced them into an SUV infront of them. My car was hit so hard that the lighter thinger flew out of it's place in the console. Me and my brother couldn't open our doors. The lady infront of me, her car was totalled to. Got slammed into the SUV infront of her. The SUV had a trailer hitch on it and completely smashed in the whole front of her car. It was leaking fluids. Me and my brother called my mom she came but it took her a really long time. We had the cars moved off the road because you couldn't get around it. And they had to call the fire department because of the fluids on the ground. I like snapped and don't remember much save the ambulace ride which my mom make me take because I was freaking out so bad. I got wipelash and the lady paid for all the damages to the two cars. Neither SUV had a problem with them. I was so pissed off. I loved that car. It sucked so much.

Ouch Zahre. That must have hurt. The worst fall off a Horse I have had was from the saddle "Coming off" When we put it on the horse must have puffed out his stomach and then on the ride he realize and off I came. I would be so scared if that would have happened to me...
Also Ouch, K9, I am glad that you were that hurt after all that. I would also be so mad that neither SUV had any damige after the other two cars did. I guess that tells you something, get an SUV...lol...:/
The only thing I can remember of being hit by the car is as I started to walk across the street, and it seemed very empty and then green and silver coming straight for me! It scared me so much! I am so glad it wasn't like either of your accedents though....

i have been riding for 5.5 years and have only come off 9 times surprisingly, but 5 resulted in broken tail bones so it wasn't fun. I have only been in one car accident, and i was 6 then and don't really remember it. i think we were the first car at a stop sign, someone behind us, then this insane uninsured freak plowed into the back of the car behind us. i remember saying my neck hurt, but meaning my throat hurt, and the firemen holding my neck as if it was broken and then going to the hospital in an ambulance and having to take x-rays and so on. it was scary and i was out in the hall on a stretcher bound to it so tight it was scary. ugh, i don't want to repeat that ever again.

Yeah I think I would be scared if I wasn't 6..... eek... I have never been in a car accident, that i remember. I do remember being in the hospital a lot though. When I was a baby I had asthma and had to be in the hospital because I couldn't breath. Then I also remember being there when I was 5 or 6 but I don't know why. Just that I was there for a few days, maybe a week, and everyone was really nice to me. I also remember getting a large blue dog stuffy from my dad, a unicorn stuffy from my mom, and a bear pillow from the doctor. I was scared...

I've been to the hospital twice in my life. The first time that I can remember was because I had to get jaw surgury. They were misaligned. The second was the car accident. I don't remember being put on the bed or how long the ambulance ride was. All I remember is that I wasn't allowed to move and they had my head strapped down. I don't remember too much of the ambulance ride either. Just that they used one of those nose things, so I could breath, and it made my nose feel funny. Weird things you remember.
I was pretty peeved that the suv didn't have any damage and my ar was totalled. I don't remember what all I said. I think I was swearing and hitting my car. But I could be wrong.
Mom said I was in shock most of the time. XD But I don't remember. Everything is a blur.

not really I mean the thing with my friend was upsetting but she's fine. Me nearly dying...I didn't find out until I'd gotten home and my mum explained.
I'd had stomach ache for two weeks but we'd pretty much ignored it, it wasn't painful just irritation. Then after I collapsed I was rushed to the hospital, they ran every sort of test but couldn't figure it out. Eventually they did keyhole surgery and I gave permission to do anything else they needed to. Whilst there they discovered my appendix was a little inflamed so they took it out, I then went home, they sent it off for test and apparentely if left for what could've have been as little as a few hours they would've burst...possibly and likely threatening my life too.

Wow... that is kind of creepy. I don't think I have ever almost did, exept when I was a baby with asthma which is really searous but I don;t remember that so what ever.
The sad thing about my ankle is it has been a week and 3 days and it still hurts when I walk a lot. This morning I was almost limping again and had only walked up the stairs from my room... I am starting to think I should see a doctor but I don't want my mom to freak out and I know she will when I tell her it is still hurting. I have had enough worried mothers over this....

you better had in case it's broken...my dad fell off his bike...hill + speed + no brakes + motorcycle barrier = pain!...he didn't think it was broken and because we were going on holiday didn't see a doctor...it kept hurting the whole time and then he came off a bike on holiday...bike + rabbit hole = more pain!... when he went back he finally got it checked out and it had been broken the whole time...
