Welcome to a world that is not tinted by the rose colored glasses the government would like you to see though. So you can just take those and toss them into the nearest bin right now. The Earth as you know it is and always has been a hotspot for alien 'tourism'. Rather it has been good or bad. You know sometimes it has been a combination of both.
Someone once told me this is the century in which everything changes. And they were right, as much as I hate to admit it, and alien and paranormal activity has sky rocketed and is higher then it has ever been in decades. It's almost too much for Torchwood and UNIT to handle even with the Doctor's help.
Let me tell you a sanguine secret[/u][/URL]. We could use your help. Torchwood and UNIT are looking for personnel to help combat the ever growing threat that faces us each and every day that the government hides from you. Do you have what it takes to help defend our home from outside forces that have anything but good intentions? Are you ready to help the ones that do have good intentions? If so stop by. Talk to use some and maybe take us to dinner;). We are always, well UNIT is anyway, looking for well able bodied people to help us. Torchwood has more exacting standards than UNIT, but we're willing to consider the best candidates.
You have our numbers, I wrote them there on your napkin, so don't stand us up and give us a call. If all goes well maybe we'll take you out.
