Stretching, Gareth made his way through the large cog doors, the alarms signalling his entrance. He'd just returned from visiting his parents out in the Beacons. It had been late last night when he made it home so he was entering the Hub on a mere 3 hours worth of sleep. He looked around, searching the main area for any of his team mates, but no signs of life were to be found. He vaguely wondered if they had gone out on a mission and so decided to take a seat on the sofa just behind Toshiko's desk to wait and he soon found himself starting to doze.

Karnie looked up as she heard the cog door open and waited to hear the voices of the team sail up the stairs. She was here early and expected the rest of the team to arrive soon. She got up and walked out to greet whoever was here.
Karnie gasped as she spotted Gareth snoozing on the chair. She hadn't seen him for three weeks, save for a couple of messed up phone calls from the signal-less Brecon Beacons.
"Gareth!" she very nearly squealed and skipped over to the sofa he dozed on. She sat down next to him and sniggled right up under his arm. "I missed you" she whispered into his chest, hugging him.

Gareth jumped as he heard the loud, high-pitched squeal which somewhat resembled his name. He grinned as Karnie dove at his and snuggled close. He lightly pressed a kiss to the top his her head.
Ditto he murmured as hius arms snaked around her, crucshing her against him. Gareth had tried as much as possible to ring her, just to hear her voice but the crap signal out in the Beacons caused the majority of their calls to be fractured and cut off. He remained in the hug as long as possible.

an't---Breath! gasped Karnie, inhaling sdeeply as Garthe loosened his grip slightly. She shuffled round to face him, smiling. How were the beacons? she asked, your parents okay? Karni hadn't met Gareth's parents yet, though she had seen a picture of them on Gareth's mantelpiece.

As he released Karnie, Gareth studied her face before answering, taking in all the details with a smile. They're fine, well...as fine as my parents ever will be when I'm around....and the Beacons? We're...well...the Beacons.... He grinned sheepishly.

Informative. Karnie grinned, and kissed Gareth lightly, then laying her head on his chest again, listening to his heart beat steadily. She wondered when the rest of the team would turn up.

How Cardiff been without me? Gareth asked as he gazed around the virtually silent hub. He wondered where the rest of the team were, but was quite happy to sit here with just the two of them.

Boring, LIfeless, Dull... I almost got killed by a crazy alien training device... ((thats a plot im hoping to get going)) Karnie smiled casually, though fear flickered across her eyes at the memory of it. The device had taken control of her mind, compressing the real Karnie and replacing it with some kind of robotic computer person. She shudderd slightly, but shook off the feeling of unease that surrounded her now nuzzling Gareth instead.

Gareth smiled and gave a small laugh before his mind back-tracked and analysed what karnie had said. Wait-WHAT?! He pulled Karnie up to look at her, his gaze searching, checking she was ok. What happened? How come you were involved? You're not even a prop-You're not even trained yet!

that was what I was trying to do, train. Karnie hesitated, not wanting to get Ianto in trouble. Theres this device that helps you learn super fast, and we--I loaded all the training files on and.. well, it tried to turn me into a computer... kind of. Karnie paled. She didn;t want to talk about it to much, the feeling of being out of control was horrible.
