ooc: hi im soooooo bored since no ones on, so i thought that i would start a random thread that anyone can join whenever they want.
Ianto walked outside of his small office that rested above the hub he had asked jack millons of times for a better office but he never got a straight answer from him.Ianto needed the air so he left the office and walked along the cardiff pier looking into the sea the sun was setting and ianto thought that it looked beautiful.
Ianto looked at his watch he had been gone 2 hours now so Ianto thought that he better go back to the small little office that he moaned about.
Here i go!

Karnessa sat at her office chair. She had been at Torhchwood for a few weeks now, and was loving every minute of it! Even the dangerous times - when they were tracking weevils or other aliens - were somehow fun. Right now she was researching the 'rift' and someof the creatures that the team had mentioned in passing. Karnie hated knowing so little. The rest of the team would make suggestions when they were trying to solve a case, but Karnie would just sit there, hoping that they wouldn't ask her her opinion.
She missed Gareth too. He was on holiday in the Brecon Beacons, visiting his parents. Karnie missed him a lot. Karnie glanced at the small photo she had of him and her. They had been shopping in town and spotted a phone booth, so they paid for a passport photo selection and pulled some random faces at the camera. This photo was her favourite though: Karnie was sitting on Gareth's lap and they were laughing together. He looked so adorable wiht his messy hair spiking in random directions. Karnie sighed wistfully.
She looked up from her computer as she heard the cog door open. Hi Ianto,{/b] she called, having heard him leave a while ago. How are you?

Ianto looked up as Karnie spoke to him he smiled and took off his coat and placed in neatly on the side like it had never been taken away from the hub.
Im fine how are you?
Ianto walked past karnie as he spoke.
Coffee?
Without waiting for am answer Ianto made two cups of coffee and handed one to Karnie.
So anything interesting happened while i have been away?

I'm Okay, Karnie replied, glancing at the screen again. Ooh, and a coffee would be lovely!
Karnie didn't know what Ianto put in his coffee, but it always seemed to taste right.
Not much has happened, she added, speaking a litttle louder so she could be heard over the whirring coffee machine. But Tosh's monitor keeps flashing - I didn't want to touch it in case I broke something...

Ianto put the cups down on the desk and looked at cthe screen, Ianto began to push a seeries on things on the screen and typed in some words on the keyboard which unlocked the screen that Ianto needed to see, it was nothing like he had seen before.
Oh no!
Ianto couldnt believe his eyes it seemed like the rift was opening up in different places in cardiff at the same time.Ianto ran over to another screen the one that was linked with the cctv of all of cardiff and loaded the screens where the rift was opening. A couple had weevils crawling through them another had some kind of giant bug which was right above the hub while another had a water hag come through it. The rest seemed to have no cctv or the cameras where down.
Karnie we need jack and the othersIanto was running round from screen to screen Call them and hurry
Ianto pulled out his gun from his pocket.
Time to get rid of a pest!
Ianto walked towards the door ready to go out after the bug but he began to shake he felt completly on his own and he hated it.Ianto couldnt help feeling like this he had been on his own before but this time Ianto knew that there was too many off them and he was scared all he had to help him were toshs computer and Karnie who had been with them a while but still she wasnt exactly fighting aliens alot.

Karnie nodded, and clicked the 'phone' icon on the computers desktop. At the same time she clipped a comm device to her ear. She scanned through the list of contacts: PIzza Place, Chinese, Indian...
What the Hell? she exclaimed How come this place holds the fast food outlets in the area higher than the team members? she almost laughed, but then realised the situation. She called the number for each of the team members in turn and waited for a reply.
ooc: someone should pm the other charries to see who is gonna join.. unles you dnt want anyone joining.

ooc: yeah i could pm them if you want. In cardiff theres jack, me, gwen, tosh, owen, you, and gareth. Is that all of us?
Ianto turned to face Karnie and saw that she wasnt getting through because her lips werent moving.
Karnie come on!
Ianto threw a gun at karnie and turned to face the hub door again.He needed Karnie in case anything happened Ianto didnt know if the rift that the bug came out of was still open but he didnt want to take the risk.
Karnie keep trying them and follow me remember keep your eyes and ears open.
