Well, I have a degree in (some sort of) science, and I'm a Kudan in karate, so I can fight well. I don't know really. Just give me a job and I'll do it I suppose.

"well, as you know I'm Will, this is Skylar and that is Chris... you and Chris are our newest arrivals so we'll brief you on our current case and stuf... er, you did know that we track down aliens didn't you?" asked Will suddenly, realising that they might not have been told.

Storm nodded to Alex. Everyone here seemed educated and happy, well she wasn't very happy, but everyone didn't know that. She let Will do all the talking, she would come in when they were talking about the case. It was a kind of hard one with just two people, and Will still in school at the moment there had been times when she was the only one around to do anything. In a way Skylar had become the unoffical leader of Torchwod 2 because she was the oldest (well I think Will really doesn't have a "age") and the one that was here first.

Aliens? Ph, yeah, I know, I said in a quite off-hand way, as if I did that sort of thing everyday, and knew that I might well be going to be doing it everyday, maybe for the rest of my life. I just didn't know. Yeah it all sounds rather fun, wouldn't you say? Or is it mostly office work? That I said with a slight pleading note in my voice. Yeah I didn't mind paperwork, but in my opinion there is always something else better somewhere else when I'm doing paperwork.

"Well we get a few alienes up here, but being quite far from the rift most of our work is based on the paranormal. Torchwood Cardiff worked out the most likely locations for the rift to 'spit' stuff out, and this was one of them. We sure do get a lot of tech and supernatural stuff. But I think our levels are more an-alien-a-week." Will paused for breath. "Its more like one a day in Cardiff, or so I hear."
Will undid his can of coke with a fizzing-clickety-snap. Taking a sip he continued: "we have a lot of paperwork at the moment, Torchwood Cardiff won't recognise us as an individual branch of torchwood, they are insisting on checking our paperwork like we are little kids or something." Will grinned, "as you can tell, I feel rather annoyed about this."

Sky agreed with Will. he hated that Torchwood 2 was bring controled by Jack Harkness of Torchwood 3. What was the point, they could take care of themselves, all that Jack had to do was apoint on of them as the leader and then jack would leave and then they would be on their own. At frist Strom could see why he was like that. It started out as just 2 people, then Storm joined, then the 2 old members died, and Skylar was alone for a while then it was just Her and Will, and with just two people it would be hard to run anything, but now there was four of them, it was time Jack gave it up.
It was still earily in the day but Storm was starting to get tried of doing nothing. "Why don't we move to the board room and we can pref. you two on the case we are working on?" She suggested.
